With blue sky as the curtain and green rice as the canvas, clusters of bright red rice ears sway in the wind. Recently, the Rouge Rice at Beiwu Park has entered its best viewing season.
The Rouge Rice carries a touch of passionate red, with long red awns gleaming in the sunlight. The interweaving of red and green outlines a rare pastoral scene in the city.
It is understood that Rouge Rice is a very precious variety among the many types of Jingxi Rice. Legend has it that when Emperor Kangxi toured the south, he brought back rice seeds from Jiangnan, cultivated rice fields at the foot of Yuquan Mountain, and the harvested rice was slightly red with long grains, carrying a delicate fragrance and excellent taste, thus earning the name Rouge Rice.
Slender, bright red awns stretch outward from the greenish rice ears, and the wind blowing across the entire rice field creates ripples of red.
Without traveling far to the countryside, visitors can immersively experience natural vitality. Many photography enthusiasts have already come to capture this unique hue.
