On August 26, the HICOOL 2026 Global Entrepreneur Summit kicked off. The Haidian exhibition area, featuring an “Ecological Tree, ” an “Innovation Belt, ” and a “Haidian Gift Box” as creative concepts, attracted large numbers of visitors to stop and explore.
A “Tree” Reveals Haidian's AI Ecosystem
Standing at the center of the exhibition area, the four-sided “Haidian AI Ecological Tree” displays scrolling names of foundation models, software infrastructure, universities, and science and technology parks, transforming the abstract industrial ecosystem into an intuitive picture of growth. The soil consists of the accumulation of talent brought by top universities and research institutes and numerous leading enterprises, the living capital from angel rounds to industrial funds, precise and efficient policy services, and innovation parks spread across Zhongguancun. The branches are computing clusters, data resources, and underlying technology platforms. The fruits are innovation achievements ranging from large models to vertical applications, and from laboratory prototypes to mass-produced products.
Surrounding the “Ecological Tree, ” five “AI Fruit Stations” correspond to five scenarios: intelligent decision-making, entertainment and companionship, smart office, health and medical care, and industrial applications. Fourteen Haidian AI enterprises gathered to showcase their representative products. Visitors sparred with a 100-billion-parameter large model, conversed with an AI pet, tried on AI earphones supporting simultaneous interpretation in 66 languages, and experienced AI health screening — from foundation models to terminal products, from hardcore technology to humanistic care, the complete chain of Haidian's AI ecosystem was presented three-dimensionally within a single exhibition area.
An “Innovation Belt” Decodes Haidian's AI DNA
The Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt, with the Jingzhang Railway Heritage Park as its spatial axis, is being constructed according to a “Three Zones, Two Wings” layout to create a world-class AI innovation corridor connecting universities, parks, enterprises, and urban life, stretching from the North Second Ring Road to the North Fifth Ring Road, spanning approximately 9 km and covering 43.6 square kilometers.
The future of this innovation belt is being co-authored by AI. Haidian has packaged its urban design brief as the “Haidian Skill, ” soliciting urban design proposals from global intelligent agent users through mainstream open-source platforms, allowing artificial intelligence to directly participate in community planning and construction. To date, 950 proposals from around the world have been received, injecting AI wisdom into urban development with an open-source co-creation posture.
