On the afternoon of March 2, Shangdi International Ecological Collaboration Service Forum was held at the International Conference Center of Zhongguancun Software Park. Aimed at fostering efficient collaborations among governments, enterprises and service providers, the forum precisely empowered hard tech companies to expand their operations globally and assisted them in growing in international markets in a quality manner. Bao Lei, Chairman of the Haidian District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended and delivered a speech.
At the forum, Shangdi Subdistrict's service system for hard tech enterprises' global expansion was officially released, and the "Haidian Go Global Service Port – Shangdi Station" (hereinafter referred to as the "Shangdi Station") was inaugurated.
According to Zhang Dongchuan, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shangdi Subdistrict, the service system will focus on six core fields: follow-up, strategic planning, professional compliance, settlement and operation, market expansion and resource matchmaking, to fully support enterprises in going global. Relying on the Shangdi Station, four functional modules will be deployed, namely a comprehensive service counter, a shared roadshow space, a sci-tech innovation live-broadcast room and a digital exhibition zone. Meanwhile, a service brand and a matrix of regular activities will be launched.
It is learned that the newly established Shangdi Station will integrate high-quality resources from the government as well as market and professional institutions, to build a one-stop service platform for enterprises located in the vicinity.
Subsequently, the Beijing Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Shangdi Subdistrict and Kr Star Innovation jointly launched a service program for the participating enterprises of the 28th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) and the Shangdi UPSIDE AI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, promoting in-depth integration between innovation competitions and international exhibitions, and opening a fast track for outstanding hard tech enterprises to participate in CHITEC and obtain full-chain professional support.
In his promotion of the 28th CHITEC, An Yongjun, a Level II Bureau Rank Official of the CCPIT Beijing Sub-Council, stated that this year's expo will provide a crucial opportunity for Haidian’s hard tech enterprises to showcase their innovative achievements and gain access to global resources.
During the policy interpretation and professional sharing session, officials from relevant departments including the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science City and the Haidian District Commerce Bureau introduced respectively the layout of overseas innovation accelerators, efforts to support technology enterprises to "go global via exhibitions", international talent training program for enterprises, the "One-Stop Bonded Services" and the "One-Stop Go Global Services" at Zhongguancun Comprehensive Bonded Zone, as well as municipal and district-level policies supporting foreign trade and foreign investment, offering all-round policy guidance for enterprises going global. A representative of ZGC Science City Ltd. shared the company's full-cycle service system for enterprises' global expansion, while a representative from King & Wood Mallesons systematically elaborated on key issues such as corporate structure selection, intellectual property protection and labor compliance for overseas expansion from a legal perspective, providing professional legal support for the steady and sustained development of relevant enterprises.
Through diverse sessions including achievement release, platform launch, policy interpretation and professional sharing, the forum fully demonstrated the systematic layout and practical measures of Haidian District and Shangdi Subdistrict in serving the international development of enterprises. In the future, Shangdi Subdistrict will take the Shangdi Station as the core carrier, rely on the six-part service system for hard tech enterprises' global expansion, collaborate with global service partners, create a well-developed international innovation network, and continuously provide full-cycle, professional and one-stop services for hard tech enterprises going global, to help them integrate into the global innovation system with high quality.
