On February 28, the 2026 Conference on High-Quality Economic and Social Development of Haidian District was convened. At the conference, the Beijing Haidian Science Parks Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") was officially established, with a number of key agreements signed on-site to boost regional coordination and international cooperation. Through industrial innovation led by sci-tech innovation, it aims to inject a strong impetus into Haidian's high-quality development in the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
To build a world-leading science park, strengthening internal capacity and pursuing openness and win-win results are both important. At the conference, the Alliance was formally inaugurated. Ebba Lund, Chief Executive Officer of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), delivered a video congratulatory message, commending Haidian's dynamic innovation ecosystem connected to the globe.
Several agreements were signed to build a regional innovation community. Haidian joined hands with Changping and Yanqing to target the new fields of the medical and healthcare industry; the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Humanoid Robot Industrial Synergy Community was co-established to launch the "Industry Chain Collaborative Advancement Project"; and the Yangtze River Delta & Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Semiconductor Testing Innovation Corridor was announced to promote the efficient cross-regional flow of factors of production.
In addition, Haidian has continued to deepen international cooperation. The Alliance signed an agreement with IASP to promote resource sharing; Zhongguancun No.1 signed a deal with Teknopark Istanbul in Türkiye to build a cross-border channel for industrial connectivity. The "Global Service Partners of Haidian District" were awarded plaques, systematically forming a key hub linking the global innovation network.
