As spring warms the days, the woods of Baiwangshan are once again filled with lively birdsong. 230 species of birds inhabit here, creating a vibrant ecological picture. To revitalize and utilize Beijing's historical archives of Beijing's parks and landscaping, on March 13, the "Bird Neighbors in the Forest: Baiwangshan Forest Park Bird Ecology Exhibition" , planned and hosted by the Stele Forest Management Office and supported by the Museum of Beijing Forestry University and the Haidian District Wetland and Wildlife Protection Management Center, will officially open! Immersive exhibitions, real bird specimens, fun stamp collecting, interactive bird song experiences... numerous exciting activities invite you to get to know your bird neighbors and unlock the mysteries of the forest ecology.

Step into the homes of your bird neighbors, from nest box breeding and seasonal habitats to avian ecological chains and food chains; from bird calls and communication to species diversity. Thirteen bird specimens are on display, including the Oriental Greenfinch, Great Bustard, and Common Kestrel, allowing you to observe their features and appreciate the beauty of birds firsthand. A special display illustrating birds feeding on insects, offering a vivid glimpse into the symbiotic relationships in the mountain forest.
Listen to Bird Songs of Baiwangshan with One Click
Curious about the bird songs of Baiwangshan? An interactive bird song station is set up in the exhibition hall. Press a button to hear the real calls of birds like the Spotted Turtle Dove, Red-billed Blue Magpie, and Oriental Scops Owl, revealing the forest's natural "communication system" and vividly experiencing the forest "symphony".
Take Home Custom Souvenir Stamps
Visitors can also enjoy a stamp-collecting activity. The exhibition features custom-designed stamps. Upon finishing your visit, you can collect a limited-edition souvenir card (100 cards daily, first-come, first-served) and gather the unique stamps, as a memorable keepsake from the exhibition.

Amidst the lush forests of the Taihang Mountains, birds fill the air with song and vitality. Step into the Baiwangshan Bird Ecology Exhibition, get to know our bird neighbors, understand the codes of the forest ecology, and take action to protect this feathered homeland.
Reminders
1. We are currently in the forest fire prevention season. The park is a level-1 fire prevention area. Carrying lighters, matches, flammable materials, or other dangerous items into the park is strictly prohibited. Please cooperate with gate checks and hand over any fire sources before entering. Smoking and other open-air fires are prohibited inside the park.
2. To maintain the park environment and ensure visitors’ personal safety, pets, scooters, self-balancing scooters, bicycles and other wheeled devices are not allowed in the park. Tents are prohibited within the park.
3. To protect the stability of the forest park ecosystem, catching insects, birds and beasts is strictly prohibited. Please do not bring tools such as insect nets or cages into the park. Releasing animals inside the park is also prohibited.
4. Park Opening Hours:
Peak Season (March 16 – November 15): 6:00 – 18:00 (Park closes at 20:00)
Off Season (November 16 – March 15): 7:00 – 17:00 (Park closes at 19:00)
