As a premier mass sports event in Haidian District, the 2025 Haidian 3x3 Super Championship successfully established a competition system covering seven major categories through an innovative model of "government leadership, professional operation, and universal participation". It attracted thousands of basketball enthusiasts from government agencies, public institutions, the military, universities, youth players, enterprises, local communities, and the open category, garnering widespread attention and high acclaim from all sectors of society. The championship team, competing as "Team Haidian", even earned a place at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Tianjin Challenger, marking a historic breakthrough from a local mass-participation event to the international arena.
Standing at this new starting point, the 2026 season of the Haidian 3x3 Super Championship will build upon its existing successful model with a comprehensive upgrades in both quality and scale. While retaining the established category structure, a new Elite category will be added to further elevate the competitive level and spectator appeal of the tournament. Guided by a people-centered and player-centric philosophy, the event aims to steadily expand its local participation base while actively attracting basketball enthusiasts from across the city and the nation, propelling the tournament towards becoming a nationally recognized and internationally influential sports IP.
