Located at No. 8 Cuiquan East Road, Xisanqi Subdistrict, Haidian District, Brick Kiln Lane Cultural and Art Complex boasts a building area of 5,254 square meters. Its predecessor was the Beijing Xindu Brick and Tile General Plant, established in 1954, which once supplied bricks and tiles for Beijing's Ten Major Buildings and carries a profound industrial historical legacy. Under the leadership of Haikong Holdings, the project adheres to the principles of "preserving relics and cherishing memories" in its urban renewal efforts, positioning itself as a public cultural complex integrating cultural education, leisure interaction, and artistic experiences.
The site deeply integrates a diverse mix of "exhibition, culture, entertainment, and education" business formats, introducing the Guotu Bookstore, art exhibition halls, Xinghai Theater, holographic projection experience zones, rooftop gardens, and specialty dining. Together, these elements create a vibrant urban cultural IP for Brick Kiln Lane. The project has received multiple honors, including being named a "Beijing Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site", a "Second Batch of New Performing Arts Spaces in Haidian District", and a "Top 10 Urban Renewal Project" at the Golden Wutong Awards. It has also been designated as a "City Public Art Demonstration Base".
As of the first quarter of 2026, the project has welcomed over 450,000 visitors and hosted more than 130 cultural events. Its integrated online and offline promotion strategy has proven highly effective, significantly revitalizing regional consumer activity. Brick Kiln Lane now stands as a model of urban renewal that seamlessly blends historical heritage, cultural consumption, and technological experiences.
