If blood pressure is excessively high or the ECG shows obvious abnormalities (such as significant bradycardia), an echocardiogram should be added. ECG and echocardiogram cannot replace each other. III. Registration Plan
1. Registration Period: 16: 00 on July 15, 2026 to 24: 00 on August 8, 2026. This event adopts a “register first, lottery draw second, pay upon selection” mechanism. Once the number of applicants exceeds the quota, entry places will be allocated by lottery. Participants pay after being selected; selected places are for personal use only and strictly prohibited from transfer.
2. Registration Channels: Haidian Marathon official website, WeChat official account “Haidian Marathon, ” official mini-program “Haidian Marathon, ” (海淀马拉松) and partner registration platforms including “Keep” and “Shuzi Xindong” (数字心动).
3. Registration Fee: RMB 200/person
4. Registration Process: Log in to the official website or registration platform, click on event registration—register or log in to your account—fill in registration information—read and agree to event-related documents—complete the corresponding registration process—lottery draw—obtain entry place/waiting list qualification—pay registration fee.

5. Guaranteed Entry Slots
(1) This edition sets 1,000 guaranteed time-qualified slots. Athletes whose registered times meet the qualifying standards for their respective age groups will secure guaranteed entry. Age groups are determined by subtracting the year of birth from 2026(the year of the race).
(2) If the total number of qualified guaranteed entry applicants does not exceed 1,000, all qualified applicants will obtain guaranteed entry.
(3) If the total number of qualified guaranteed entry applicants exceeds 1,000, the actual number of guaranteed entries for each age group will be calculated based on the percentage of qualified applicants in that age group multiplied by 1,000(for example: if the number of qualified applicants aged 34 and below is 1,000, and the total number of qualified applicants across all age groups is 5,000, this indicates that the guaranteed entry quota for the 34-and-below age group accounts for 20%, meaning 200 guaranteed slots for that age group). Athletes will then be ranked within each age group by their personal best net marathon finishing time at Chinese Athletics Association-certified “Category A” events (held between July 15, 2024 and July 15, 2026) that can be queried on the “China Marathon” website. Those ranking within the actual guaranteed entry quota for their age group will secure guaranteed entry.
Special Note: Athletes who are unable to prove they have met the qualifying standards through the above method may, after registration and before August 8, 2026, submit marathon finishing certificates from World Athletics Label events or AIMS-certified events (held between July 15, 2024 and July 15, 2026) to the customer service email: haidianmarathon@163. com. Once the time is verified as accurate, it may be used as a valid performance record.
6. Lottery Results
The lottery results are scheduled for release in late August 2026. The draw will simultaneously confirm the list of selected runners and the waiting-list order for those not selected. Applicants may log in to the official event website to check results after they are announced.
Selected participants and those with guaranteed entry must complete payment within 72 hours after the lottery results are announced. Failure to pay within the deadline will be deemed as automatic forfeiture of entry qualification.
7. Waiting List and Withdrawal Mechanism
(1) Waiting List Mechanism: Applicants who were not selected and wish to join the waiting list must pay the registration fee within 72 hours after the lottery results are announced. Otherwise, they will be deemed to have automatically forfeited their waiting list opportunity, and their waiting list number will not be retained. (2) Refund Rules: Participants who have paid and obtained a place and choose to withdraw must apply to withdraw within 72 hours after the lottery results are announced.
