On September 9, the reporter visited the “Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt” display area, experiencing up close the vivid practice of Haidian's industry-city-sci-tech innovation integration.
Creating a High-Quality Environment
The “Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt” focuses on showcasing AI enterprises, universities, research institutes, and innovation platforms clustered along the belt, presenting Haidian's development vision of building a world-class AI innovation highland that connects universities, industrial parks, innovative enterprises, and urban living spaces, with the Jingzhang Railway Heritage Park as the bond.
On the display board, the “Three Zones, Two Wings” layout of the Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt is clearly presented. The central area is the Beijing AI Origin Community, creating a “near-campus innovation ecosystem” within a one-kilometer radius around Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The northern area is the Zhongzhi Park AI Independent Innovation Acceleration Zone, building a national-level AI platform agglomeration area and a global AI cooperation and governance center. The southern area strengthens the Dazhongsi AI Industry Agglomeration Area, leveraging Douyin's platform business advantages to incubate AI-native and AI+integrated empowerment new business forms. The west side builds the Zhongguancun Sci-Tech Service Wing, and the east side builds the Xiaoyuehe Scenario Empowerment Wing.
Liu Yong, President of the Zhongguancun Internet Finance Research Institute, who was viewing the exhibition on-site, told the reporter that from the proposal at the end of 2023 to win the AI race to today, Haidian District has gathered over 2,000 AI enterprises, accounting for approximately 80% of the city's total, including 1 trillion-level and 7 hundred-billion-level leading enterprises, becoming a national AI innovation highland. Among these, the Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt has produced listed companies such as Z. AI, the world's first large model stock. “The Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt gathers regional talent resources from universities and research institutes, cultivates and develops industrial parks and sci-tech enterprises, and becomes a key fulcrum for the ‘birthplace'of the AI industry”.
According to the plan, the overall positioning of the Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt is the superimposition of three belts: the Centennial Jingzhang Cultural Belt, the Urban AI Life Experience Belt, and the AI Integrated Innovation Belt. Liu Yong stated that Phase II of the Jingzhang Railway Heritage Park has been completed and opened, connecting with the 2.4-kilometer landscape corridor of Phase I to form a 9-kilometer Centennial Jingzhang Green Corridor from Xizhimen to the North Fifth Ring Road. People can enter the park after work to exercise and take walks, enjoying an excellent environment. The Dazhongsi 1733 Space has also become a new commercial landmark. In addition, the public space renovation and upgrading project on the south side of Tsinghua East Road will commence construction within the year, and the environment in this area is getting better and better. “A city must be suitable not only for work and entrepreneurship, but also for living. Frontier Technologies Make a Concentrated Debut
At this year's CIFTIS, many Haidian enterprises came from the Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt, and their technological achievements are vivid microcosms of the innovation ecology in this area. At the Financial Services Exhibition, the Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence (BIGAI) showcased SoulAgent, featuring “an exclusive intelligent agent that understands you better the more you use it”. Relying on the platform, users can build AI digital avatars, extending professional capabilities for experts and teachers, assisting managers in collaborative decision-making, helping researchers advance research topics, and aiding investors in project evaluation. Galaxy General brought the humanoid robot “Xiao Gai”, interacting and conversing with the audience on-site. It is equipped with “AstraBrain”, adopting the world's first end-to-end embodied large model architecture of “brain — cerebellum — neural control”, opening up the full-chain closed loop of multi-modal perception and understanding, intelligent task planning, and real-time action execution. Zhongke WengeAI exhibited the DIP Decision Intelligence Platform, which can access and cleanse enterprises' multi-source dispersed data, transforming it into comprehensible business objects. MetaVision, rooted in the Beijing AI Origin Community, respectively set up booths at the World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development 2026, Bank of China, and Bank of Beijing, centrally exhibiting its main product lines including the Spatial Intelligent Retail Station, Naked-Eye 3D Intelligent Interactive Terminal, and Medium-Free Aerial Imaging Intelligent Terminal series. In the Beijing AI Origin Community, MetaVision completed the full-stack technology closed loop of optical hardware, SpaceOS spatial operating system, PIWM Proactive Intention World Model, and SceneAgents scenario intelligent agents, with multiple key technologies moving from laboratory R&D to mature productization. In June this year, Haidian was selected as one of the first batch of national capital market sci-tech finance practice samples.
