Three newly renovated venues put into use for the first time, the “China Services Case Exhibition” established for the first time, and a batch of distinctive humanoid robots already in position at the exhibition area.. . The exhibition and display area of the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter “CIFTIS”) is full of highlights. On the eve of the opening, the reporter entered Shougang Park to explore in advance. The renovated Shougang Park makes its debut with a brand-new appearance as a “fashionable and cool” international exhibition town. The three new venues — Halls 2, 3, and 4 — adopt iconic diamond-shaped intersecting decorative wing curtain walls, with steel gray, rust red, and metallic bright silver facades fully charging the industrial atmosphere. Booth construction in all 12 exhibition halls is fully ready. Notably, from the sci-tech finance practice in Hall 4 to the digital cultural heritage experience in Hall 7, from the Galaxy General robot serving as a “supermarket clerk” in Hall 3 to the promotion of Zhongguancun Comprehensive Bonded Zone's sci-tech going-global service system in Hall 12, Haidian's innovative strength runs through multiple halls, quietly awaiting guests.
“China Services Case Exhibition” Established for the First Time: Digital Economy and Regional Characteristics Deeply Integrated
Entering the thematic exhibition in Hall 1, the “China Services Case Exhibition” immediately catches the eye — this is the first time CIFTIS has established this exhibition area. 140 cases from 24 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, 15 central enterprises, and 8 central financial enterprises are centrally presented, covering fields such as digital-intelligent services, cultural creativity, livelihood services, and integration of advanced manufacturing and modern services.
From the exhibitions of various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, the deep integration of digital economy and regional characteristic industries has become a prominent trend: Guangxi, as the guest province of honor, takes “AI+” as its main thread, showcasing digital-intelligent scenario applications oriented toward ASEAN; Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu, and other regions combine intangible cultural heritage creativity, smart cultural tourism with digital technology, allowing traditional culture to “come alive” through technology empowerment. Not far away, national and international organization booths are also in place, with countries and international organizations such as Norway, Australia, Denmark, and the World Trade Centers Association gathering together, with innovation achievements in fields such as digital services, green development, energy and meteorology, and investment promotion quietly awaiting global merchants to explore matchmaking.
Moving to Hall 3, the Telecommunications, Computer and Information Services Thematic Exhibition features “AI+Information and Communications” as its prominent characteristic, and this has also become the “headquarters” for robots. The “Digital-Friendly Solutions Exhibition”, led by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, gathers 50 leading enterprises including Meituan, Kuaishou, and Baidu, showcasing 41 high-quality digital solutions. Galaxy General from Haidian also makes its appearance here, with the exhibition area building a miniature supermarket where a humanoid robot serves as a “supermarket clerk”. Not far away, in the unmanned post office, robots are similarly busy sorting and delivering. The booths of China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Tower are lined up in a row, with the three major operators' self-developed super intelligent agents gathering for the first time, presenting ten landing application service solutions around two chapters: “new quality production” and “quality life”.
In Hall 7, the Cultural and Tourism Services Thematic Exhibition is even more splendid and colorful. The “Flying Over the Forty Scenes of the Old Summer Palace” XR immersive garden tour experience created by the Haidian exhibition area is ready, using three-fold surround screens and XR devices to achieve virtual-real roaming of classical gardens. The “One Flower, One World — Qi Baishi Digital Art Immersive Exhibition” brought by the Beijing Art Academy makes its global debut, with 360-degree digital image fusion technology bringing Qi Baishi's paintings to life from the paper. The Jixiang Grand Theatre CAVE Intangible Cultural Heritage Immersive Space brings traditional opera closer to the public through digital technology. The characteristic scene of the Longfu Temple Market has also been “moved” into the exhibition hall, with interactive experiences such as AI Magic Screen Travel Photography spread throughout the exhibition area. According to statistics, this year's cultural and tourism thematic exhibition will launch 6 global debuts and 19 national first exhibitions of innovative achievements.
Haidian Matrix Makes a Concentrated Debut, with Linked Halls Presenting Innovative Strength
If “openness, cooperation, and innovation” are the most distinctive undertones of this year's CIFTIS, then the Haidian exhibition area is undoubtedly one of its most active practitioners. In Hall 4's Financial Services Thematic Exhibition, the Haidian exhibition area focuses on the “Capital Market Sci-Tech Finance Practice Sample” — in June this year, Haidian became the only selected region in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area among the first batch nationwide. The exhibition area features the “Centennial Jingzhang AI Innovation Belt” display zone, where AI enterprises, universities, research institutes, and innovation platforms clustered along the belt are centrally presented. The FinTech Competition Roadshow Zone brings the international fintech innovation competition into the CIFTIS venue. In the hard-tech enterprise exhibition area, frontier achievements in fields such as AI large models, domestic GPU chips, embodied intelligent robots, and commercial aerospace are displayed as physical objects for visitors to experience hands-on.
The Haidian exhibition area of the Cultural and Tourism Services Thematic Exhibition in Hall 7 takes “AI Haidian • Cultural Heritage Reborn” as its theme. The Digital Cultural Heritage Immersive Experience Zone leverages digital restoration and somatosensory interaction technologies to bring the Old Summer Palace to life in digital space. The Artificial Intelligence Dance Center Exhibition Zone will showcase frontier robotic achievements including humanoid robots and dexterous hands. The Games Exhibition Zone centrally presents the achievements of representative gaming enterprises in self-developed engine technology, cultural going-global, and domestic AAA game creation.
In Hall 12, the Digital Services and Consumption Exhibition Zone, the Beijing Zhongguancun Comprehensive Bonded Zone booth is also ready. As China's first comprehensive bonded zone featuring R&D and innovation, Zhongguancun Comprehensive Bonded Zone focuses on fields such as pharmaceutical and health, integrated circuits, and embodied intelligence. Since the beginning of this year, it has prioritized advancing the construction of three high-energy-level platforms: the National Artificial Intelligence (Life Sciences/Medicine) Application Pilot-Scale Base, the Multi-Material System Photonic Quantum Chip Pilot-Scale Platform, and the Beijing High-Performance Chip Service Platform. During the exhibition period, Zhongguancun Comprehensive Bonded Zone will focus on promoting the “1+5+N” sci-tech going-global service system — “1” is a one-stop service platform, focusing on helping enterprises handle “one-stop bonded affairs” and “one-stop going-global affairs”; “5” refers to five escort segments of policy, convenience, orders, services, and talent; “N” refers to linking multiple overseas innovation stations and service organizations globally. During the exhibition period, it will also continuously conduct “Global Business Opportunities” overseas order matchmaking activities, expanding global business scenarios for domestic hard-tech enterprises.
It is understood that during CIFTIS, Haidian District will also release the sixth anniversary achievements of the “Two Zones” construction at the Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone Exhibition Center, and hold the 7th “The Night of Haidian” business exchange event at the Longhui 1910 Cultural and Creative Industrial Park.
