The 2026 National 3x3 Basketball Championship concluded in Weifang. Shandong Province on the evening of March 5. Organized by the Chinese Basketball Association, this tournament is one of the country's premier official events in 3x3 basketball, attracting 16 elite women's teams from across China.
Led by head coach Hua Lin, the Peking University (PKU) women's basketball team delivered commanding performances, securing the U21 championship and finishing runner-up in the U23 division—a double triumph showcasing incredible skill and esprit de corps.

The two-day women's tournament featured 40 intense matchups. Structured into group stages and knockout rounds, the fast-paced, high-intensity games tested players' tactical execution, adaptability, and physical endurance. PKU's two squads demonstrated strong team cohesion and disciplined play, advancing from the group stages into the knockout rounds.
In the U21 division, PKU swept through both the group stage and semi-finals, remaining unbeaten. In a thrilling final against a tough Shandong team, the scores remained tied after regulation, sending the game into overtime. Holding firm under pressure, PKU clinched a dramatic 19-18 victory to claim the title, embodying their fighting spirit and determination to never give up and defending PKU women's basketball's glory.
The U23 competition proved equally fierce. PKU advanced through the rounds to reach the final, where they faced an undefeated Shandong side. PKU maintained resolute defence throughout the game, engaging in a hard-fought battle on both ends of the court. Though falling 12–18, the team's fluid ball movement, relentless hustle, and unwavering spirit earned widespread recognition.

PKU's strong results in both divisions reflect the team's rigorous training, meticulous tactical preparation and close teamwork. These achievements also embody PKU's physical education philosophy: "A robust character begins with sports." Bringing home these honors not only validates the players' hard work, but also provides invaluable tournament experience for the rising stars as they prepare for future high-level competitions.
