To better implement the Belt and Road Initiative and the Plan for the Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, some ports in the Beijing Municipality, Tianjin Municipality and Hebei Province have launched the 240-hour visa-free transit period, which is targeted at people from 55 countries, following the approval by the State Council of the People's Republic of China. Introduction
In order to better implement the Belt and Road Initiative and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development plan, and build a more convenient environment for entry and exit, with the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the transit without visa policy for foreigners from 55 countries, who hold effective international travel documents and have determined dates in 240 hours has been implemented in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

3.A fully completed Arrival/Departure Card (including name, nationality, passport no., visa no., issuance place, flight no., purpose of visit, date of birth, gender)
4.An onward ticket with confirmed seat is needed
Procedure
1.Inform the airlines when boarding
2.Fill an Arrival / Departure Card
3.Apply the 240-hour permit
4.Claim the luggage and go through the custom
5.Leave airport
Notice
Upon arrival, find the 240-hour visa-free counter at the immigration inspection to apply for the stay permit, which will be stamped in your passport indicating the maximum length of stay. Remember to tell the officer if you have a visa for China but don't want to use it this time.
