To further optimize the consumption environment for inbound travelers, the Municipal Taxation Bureau recently launched two innovative service initiatives: the multilingual Beijing Departure Tax Refund Guide and an electronic map of Beijing's departure tax refund stores. The Beijing Departure Tax Refund Guide is available in seven languages — Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Russian, and Mongolian. Centered around a fully visual step-by-step guide, it provides detailed explanations of common issues such as refund eligibility criteria and processing procedures through a combination of text and illustrations.
