Against the backdrop of blue skies and white clouds, the crape myrtles in various colors appear exceptionally delicate and charming. The blooming period of beautiful crape myrtle is remarkably long, lasting almost from June through September — nearly one hundred days — hence its name “Hundred-Day Red. ”
Clusters of pink-purple, crimson-red, and pure-white blossoms hang heavily from the branches, resembling clouds of rosy sunset adorning the treetops from afar, or like billowing mists of gentle warmth and radiant brightness.
Drawing closer, the fully bloomed crape myrtles appear in bunches and clusters, layer upon layer crowding the branches. Each bloom is exquisitely vivid, displaying its graceful form under the blazing sun. The petals are as thin as cicada wings, with naturally unfurled wavy folds, uniquely captivating.
As the wind blows, the full clusters of flowers sway gently, with occasional petals drifting down, carpeting the ground with a faint floral shadow, creating an atmosphere that is instantly immersive.
Walking beneath the trees, a subtle fragrance greets you, with lush green shade setting off the blazing blossoms — a seasonal scenery exclusive to this very moment.
